I think we have a problem.

Am I the only one who thinks he's cute? I think I have been in the house and surrounded by children too, too long.

Family fun at the fair.

After church on Sunday, we went to the Pima County Fair with my parents. We all had a great time. I thought the kids would be scared or uncooperative, but they really behaved themselves. I tried my best taking photos, but with 4 kids it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Their first ride on the "roller coaster dragon".
Lindsey is on the left. I love that laugh/smile/scream!
Deep in thought......you have to concentrate while flying an airplane.
Yes, my 12 year old was on the pink elephant....you got a problem with that?
Waiting patiently to go on the carousel.
Daddy, Lindsey and Michael conquering the Super Slide.
Waiting to play. The way he is standing cracks me up.
Michael caught a fish right away!
Taking a ferris wheel ride with Grandma Nev.
I love this man for being so patient with Tyler. I am truly blessed with a caring, caring man.
I couldn't believe they enjoyed riding the ponies as much as they did! It was the best $5 ever spent. They walked them for about 10 minutes. Which is why
Michael was about to doze off. They loved it and are now requesting that we buy a pony.
Lindsey went for the rock climbing wall. I was so proud of her. She has never been on one before. This was about as far as she got, before she got frightened.
She came down smiling and went back up for a second try.....that's my girl:)
This picture best describes how we all felt after 3 1/2 hours at the fair. We will be sure to go again next year.

Seriously?

Alright, I was a little upset when I got a good mail package sent back to me because someone(Lindsey, the post office?) put a black mark through the zip code and was therefore, unmailable. Sorry Michelle, I tried to get a get-well, bon voyage package to you before your Paris trip.

I got a little more upset when I received a "sorry we ripped up your mail" letter from the post office. It was our dental claim form. I got over it though, because, after all I am bound to have a letter or two lost in the shuffle.

I realized it is just not my mail week when my grandmother informed me that she still has not received Natalie's pictures in a thank you card I mailed 3 weeks ago!

To top it all off, Rachel emails me to let me know that the cds I ordered from Amazon were mailed to her house! OOPS.....lucky for me, she is sweet enough to mail them to me. So much for the free shipping I got, huh?

Thanks for letting me vent. I wonder....should I mail out good mail? or wait til next week?

How do you eat an Oreo?

Or a watermelon?

Lots of excitement......

around here. She was not only busted on Michael's train table, but has also learned to climb on his bed. Didn't take a picture of that....I was too afraid she would topple off.
Natalie is drinking milk! Out of a sippy cup!!! We are doing it gradually, for both Mommy and baby comfort :). She is really getting the hang of it.
Playing peek-a-boo with your big sister is the most fun, ever!
Pirates were everywhere..... Lindsey making a flag....cause you know every pirate needs a flag.
Michael sporting his camping, knighthood, wizard, survivor A.K.A pirate costume.
Searching for that lost treasure.
You have to love Lindsey's pirate belt(boa).
At last, the treasure was found. Two books from long ago about dinosaurs and princesses.

Hey, didn't I think of that?

I found this cool canvas growth chart at Pottery Barn Kids.
It is on clearance for $15.99. When I was pregnant with Lindsey, one of my mother's co-workers made us a fun canvas rug for in front of her crib. I loved all the flowers. Then, I thought wouldn't it be great to have a growth chart too? She made this one for me using the flower wallies I used on Lindsey's wall. This isn't the finished product, it is missing the measurement lines, Lindsey's name, birth date and birth measurements and weight. She also used a cool dowel with flowers on the end of it. I wish I could find that picture. Pretty similar idea, huh? Now here we are almost 5 years later and it still is cool!

Play ball!

Since one of my new blogging friends, Cristina, daughter loves playing ball on her beautiful landscaped lawn, I thought I would snap a couple of our cutie actually getting to use the ball with no siblings trying to take it from her! Are her eyes gorgeous or what?
Also, you gotta love her in the cool tank top Cristina sent her. I love it! Thanks again!

Leaves?

My kids pretty much dislike all vegetables, except for the occasional carrot, cucumber, or piece of lettuce. Nothing really nutritional, but they do love spinach. Yes, Spinach. All 4 of them! They call it their leaves. I wonder did, 'A Land Before Time' help me out with this one?

Good mail does such wonders!

I received a cute thank you card from Cristin. Don't you love the colors? I also received a sweet thank you card from Hannah on the day after she delivered a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations Hannah! I mean, that is dedication to mail out thank you cards the day before you are scheduled to have a baby.
Today, I received a fun, bright, happy towel embroidered by Cristin. Thank you so much for making my day so sunny!
To add to that super treat, The Harmon kids sent the kids a fun package. Lots and lots of books.
Some candy, markers, coloring books, and a princess stamp set.
And for Natalie an adorable, super-soft bunny! Talk about arriving at the right time. Thanks so much, Rachel. I was at my wits end with them today and your package really helped!

Aunt Pat reminded me.

About our egg coloring photos. I know you have all been waiting anxiously for those:) Lindsey ready to go!
Don't you love his chunky little thumb?
Artist at work.
Decorating eggs is some serious business! Notice how many eggs are in each bowl, how many are plain yellow, and what other things are being dyed in the green cup?

Some of their finished masterpieces.

Nothing like giggling girls.

Lindsey and one of her best girlfriends, Kristina saying goodbye for the day. I love how they interact. They are so caring and loving. Also, you gotta love that they had on their matching headbands!
