Michael did have a 4th birthday. Honest.

He got to have 2! His actual birthday was pretty uneventful. He was very, very sick....as was most of the family, so it was pretty low-key.

with a football cake....can you see how sick he was? Hurts my heart just looking at his sunken eyes and pale face.

But, he was a trooper and opened up some presents. His favorite gift? A dirt devil vacuum. Who knew? On his 2nd rescheduled birthday party(Super Bowl Sunday), he was feeling a little better and ready to help set up his Cars party. He just loves McQueen!
We just served sandwiches, chips and veggies....we knew everyone would be leaving room for their Super Bowl munchies.

Janice did it again! She made this amazing cake! We were afraid to cut it...okay not too afraid. Her cakes taste just as good as they look.

She is so detail-oriented, she had to have Michael's car have his name on it, age and passing through the finish line. Thanks Janice for helping us out. You are the best!

The bounce house was a hit, as usual. I love the girls hair in this one.

How she kept that party hat on the whole time, I'll never know.
I still can't believe our boy is 4!
Couldn't leave out this photo......she even made a checkered cake.....get it, checkered flag...so clever and delish!

It is not a party if you don't have a Mater hat, grass in your hair from rolling out of the bounce house onto the ground and chocolate cake all over your face....really it's not.

Our birthday boy all smiles with his present. He received so many fun and different things. Thanks to everyone for coming and for all his great gifts.
P.S. Do we ever wash our children's mouths? They both still have chocolate on their faces!!!

A.K.A. Sporadic Blogger

That seems to be me for that last 2 months. I don't know whether to play catch up or just start with today. I have 59 kajillon photos that would probably bore you all, but I really can't help myself. I have barely read anyone else's blog, much less comment on one.

Did you get the chance to watch the Oscars? It seems we don't watch tv until about 9pm. We were doing this instead

Wouldn't it be even more fun with these colorful pins at the bowling alley?

Tomorrow is Charles' 1st day at the new job. Good luck, Charles. Thank you for doing all you do for us!!

Another reason why I do love living here.

A 1 hour car drive and we went from 75 degrees to this....snow euphoria!!!!

What do we use to go sledding, you ask? The cardboard from a Bud Light box we found. High class, that's what we are.

Natalie didn't feel that way though. She fell asleep on the way up the mountain. So we woke her up to snow! She wouldn't keep her hood up and would not put those gloves on. Next time.

Hello? Is it me you're looking for?

Yahoo! Our hard drive is up and running. Now, I need to load all our printer, scanner and misc. software and we will be good to go. I have so much to talk about and tell, but for now here is a little sweet pic of Lindsey during her rodeo luncheon at school on Wednesday. Our little cowgirl dancing with a cowboy.....my heart was melting from the extreme cuteness.

Thanks for all the sweet comments from you guys. Charles got an offer the day he left his job. He starts Monday......the power of prayer, it is amazing.

Hard drive crash survivor.

Only reason I am able to be here is because I have a super-sweet mil who let me use her computer! Yep, hard drive died last Tuesday. We were able to retrieve most of the data, but have to wait for the new drive to come to use our computer. Can you tell the non-bloggin', non-emailin' and non-shoppin' is killing me???? I have so much to tell you(my faithful 6 readers). Like Friday is Charles' last day....yep company moved to Canada. Our neighborhood elementary school might be closed down next year.......which will completely break my heart. So much more, but I have to run back to my house and get those cute kids of mine to bed.
