Let's Get Dirty!

Sunday was spent the way it should be, relaxing. Of course, Monday morning we were reminded of all the things we didn't get done the day before....laundry, cleaning, yardwork, etc..... Who cares.....it was FUN!

Autographs, anyone?

We have a star among us! Tyler was in a production of "Kiss me, Kate" at a theatre workshop he attends. He was Tex! What a wonderful job he did...everyone did. They had 3 songs w/moves to remember, along with their lines. It was a lot of fun! Wish you could have seen him......

It's a Scavo thing!

Today will forever be known as Fat Lip Friday! They had just finished with lunch and we were going to wash up....Lindsey comes up behind Michael and pushes him face first into the tile floor. Lucky for us, Michael is a tough cookie. He actually let me put a cool compress on it. It brought me back to when Lindsey got her first boo-boo. On a ROUND coffee table, she hurt herself. Fortunately, Tyler never got a boo-boo that big. Guess it is a Scavo thing!!

Big sister Lindsey pushed Michael down in the kitchen. That tile sure does hurt. Posted by Hello

What A Day!

The kids are running wild and I'm thinking of running..........away. Just kidding, of course. It is supposed to be 107 degrees here today. Monday and Tuesday, we hit 110!!!! I guess we are all getting a little stir crazy. Luckily, Tyler is in a Studio Production class this week. He is learning all the ins and outs of making a TV show. He is so cool. Also, he lost a tooth today. The Tooth Fairy still arrives here:). Lindsey was so happy to have our friends, the Gates, over for swimming yesterday. We all had a good time. So, I guess she was expecting some more of the same and was a little disappointed. That was until Molly arrived in the mail. Uncle Robert, Lillian, Joellen, Kaitlynn, and Zackery sent it to her! Thank you. She has carried her everywhere!!! The doll is bigger than Michael! Speaking of the little one, he is into EVERYTHING. When you catch him, he cracks up laughing. We are in for some real trouble with that one! Til next time...........

It's so hot..............we eat popsicles in the pool on the porch! Posted by Hello

These shoes are made for walking!
Last night we went for our after-dinner....why do we have to, why can't we drive...walk. Of course, once we got to the 18th Street park.....everyone had a good time. We found out several things.
1. Lindsey is not afraid of anything. Especially, the ladders for older kids!
2. Even at 6:30 p.m. it's HOT.
3. Michael loves animals.....we think dogs are more afraid of him:)
4. Tyler likes to be outdoors, he just won't admit it.
And
5. Even at 7:00 p.m. it's HOT
