To ourselves. My Mom (& Dad) were generous to watch the kids overnight....what???? Yes, you read that right...overnight. It has been about 3 years since we have done that(not including birth of children). Charles surprised me and booked a room at our favorite place,
Hacienda Del Sol.
I love it there....it is so quiet, so peaceful.

Oh, how romantic! I'm glad you got to do this. It's great when you can be 'husband and wife' (or maybe boyfriend and girlfriend) for a bit. Your parents are wonderful!
Years ago, my bil and his wife took my four kids in overnight. Mike and I went to Montauk (on the end of Long Island) and had a restful, romantic overnighter of our own. You really do need that once in a while. Hmmmm...I no longer require a babysitter, but maybe it's time to think of 'getting away' with Mike again. It's been ages!
