Found.

My two oldest cuties, now in Kindergarten and 7th grade, when they could tolerate each other:) I guess it is because I am an only child, but I can't understand sometimes all the teasing, the fighting, the tattling! It is normal, right?

Oh, my gosh, is it ever normal! My oldest son's personality is so different from the younger boys they didn't get along well at all as kids. Michael is more studious and quiet, while Jamie was very active and Nicky was just plain silly most of the time. They could be pretty awful to each other. Once, Michael started crying when Jamie walked in the room...even before Jamie did anything...because he was convinced Jamie would get him into trouble. (Honestly, they both got in trouble a lot--Jamie for being a pest and Michael for over-reacting.)

Now they are 17, almost 21 and almost 25. While they don't 'hang out,' Michael is willing to get takeout for his brother and Jamie is willing to drive Nicky someplace if need be.

And in the middle of all this is their sister. The nicest thing Michael ever said was: "I'd do anything for my sister." The funny thing is that Katherine and Michael always got along...and Jamie and Nicky always got along!

But see, there's hope for the future. Someday, your kids will be adults...and they truly will love each other.

And if anyone had said that to me 15 years ago...I wouldn't have believed it.

What a handsome boy! As I was about to open the page I was thinking how nice it would be to see a pic of my friend Tyler and there he was. What a cute picture of them both.
