Happy Mother's Day!

To all of our grandmothers, mothers, aunts, cousins, and friends......you are doing a wonderful work! Today, I was pleasantly surprised with many cards, a beautiful candle, 2 hanging baskets of flowers, lots of flowers to be potted/planted, and best of all lots of hugs and kisses. My sweet husband also bought one strip of sod as a sort of IOU. I was/am so excited that we will finally get some grass put in the backyard. We had a Mother's Day brunch at our house. It was simple, but nice. Everyone had a good time. It was really nice to have it early in the day.......maybe we can try the pool out, since it's 100 degrees today!
