Welcome to the world, Little One.

Natalie Elizabeth Scavo made her debut Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:42 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz and is 19 inches long. What a little sweetie!

Be warned........You will be shocked.

Wednesday night, Michael got his haircut with "the guys". He was not very happy about it...At all. The woman cutting his hair did the best she could with the wiggler/screamer/escape artist. I will have to do another trim to clean up the areas she couldn't get to. Doesn't he look different? I cried when it was done. It's official he is a big boy!!!!!! I'll try to get some better photos soon.

Some other noteworthy news................

****Grandma Jo made it to town......She left the weather in New York behind only to have it follow her here! We are supposed to be getting a foot of snow tomorrow!

****I am still pregnant and boy, does it show!

****Lindsey informed me that she no longer wants a little sister anymore.........Because she is just "too big".

****Another wave of Thomas the tank Engine obsessiveness has hit the Scavo household. Not only Tyler and Lindsey, but now Michael loves it. There is no escape!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today, while everyone is buying the token red roses, cards, jewelry, and chocolate, I realized how often each day I am told how much my friends and family love me with their actions.

Charles wakes me every morning with a smile and a cup of hot cocoa.
He calls me from a very busy day at work just to see how I am doing. He makes me laugh every day. He is a loving son, brother, nephew, friend, husband, but most importantly a wonderful father. He gives 100% in all that he does. I am so lucky to have found him.

Michael kissing me every chance he gets, Lindsey saying "Thank you kind sir" everytime you give her a apple red, and Tyler saying that the french toast I made for breakfast is the best he EVER had are just examples of their love. I can't imagine my life without them.

My parents and in-laws offering to help with getting the baby's room ready, my sister-in-law making a cozy blankie for the baby, my grandmother visiting from New York to see us, my other grandmother asking us to lunch, Charles' aunt and cousins remembering our children on each birthday and holiday, and my aunt and uncle always listening to my rants are just some of the ways that they show how much they care.

My/our friends calling to dish about a favorite show, asking how we are doing, attending the kids parties, buying from Tyler's fundraisers, telling us a wicked joke, sending a card/letter in the mail at exactly the time when I need it the most, and just being there for me/us........proves how they feel.

I am so blessed to have all of you in my life. Thank you for everything you do every day. I hope I can return the favor to you.

Baby, it's a wild world.

34 weeks and counting! I can't believe our newest little Scavo will be here in 6 weeks! I am quite overwhelmed right now, but when I went in to check on Lindsey and Michael during their naps, I realized how very lucky I/we are! I'll try to post some photos when blogspot is more cooperative. Enjoy the Super Bowl........who are we rootin' for? The underdog of course!

How to...............

Get your 3 year old to take Amoxicillin. After trying to mix it in with milk, hold her down and force it down her throat, let her make it herself, mixing it with pure hershey syrup, trying to hide it in Trix yogurt, we found our secret weapon........Jello chocolate pudding. Also, it doesn't hurt to let her eat it in the living room on a blanket........just to eat in the forbidden area made it even more delicious.

Mmmm.

He Grew!

Michael went for his check-up on Tuesday. Overall, a healthy boy. How healthy you ask? 29 lbs and 35 1/4 inches!!!!! Finally, he had a spurt. We were starting to get a little concerned, but are perfectly content with our perfect boy. We also did a routine blood test with him. He did not even CRY! In that respect, you wouldn't know that Lindsey and Michael are siblings. She's the screamer. Kids are waking from their naps..........just wanted to pass along my happy news:)

Michael turned 2.

January 23rd....Michael turned 2. He seemed pretty happy about it. We made our traditional cinnamon rolls for breakfast and he got to do whatever he wanted. That was until, I got a call from school that Tyler was very, very sick. In between all the chaos of the sick one, the Potty Princess, and the birthday boy, I had planned on making a cake for his birthday. I made Michael's absolute favorite meal......SPAGHETTI ( I got off easy with that one). So, while everyone was eating, I hurried and put the cake in the oven. Michael & Lindsey had so much sauce on them that they had to take a bath before eating the cake. While, they were getting out of the bath with Daddy, I attempted to decorate the cake. It looks really frightening, but was delicious and I think they enjoyed this cake more than any other. Lots of lollipops, m&m's and a car! What more could you ask for? After Michael went to bed.....All I could think of is where did the 2 years go? He is now such a boy...into everything and full of charm. I think we will keep him.
