A fun Friday afternoon.

After visiting Grandma & Grandpa Scavo, eating lunch, and napping, the kids went out in the yard to play. They have not been able to play on it since we put the sod in. The lawn looks great and gives me that "back east" feeling.....gosh I miss the greenery! It was the first time that Natalie has been out there. Before the dust/dirt was too much for her. The big hit of the day was the bubbles! That machine is so cool. Thanks again Darwin Family! There were thousands of bubbles and they just couldn't get enough? While looking at the photos, please forgive the mess in the background...alot of our "remodeling" stuff is out there. Did I mention that we got most of our electrical done for Natalie's room? We are on our way.

Yesterday, Natalie was admiring, aka staring, at a stained glass flower my Mom had made. All of a sudden, she started making sounds. She found her voice and was pretty excited about it. She kept getting louder and louder and seemed very proud of herself. We sure were/are!

Three months old!

Natalie turned 3 months old today and I just can't believe it. She has been such a joy to us. She is smiling alot now, laughing out loud in the form of a squeal, grabbing her toys, holds her head up really well(she has done that since about 4 weeks old....so strong), absolutely loves her baths, and is just an overall good baby. Happy birthday sweetie!

P.S. No, her eyebrows are not red, she has been rubbing them alot so they are a little red. Cute, even with irritated skin!

4 years old already! What a big girl you are! Hope you have a fabulous Dragontales birthday party on Sunday. I wish we could be there, especially for the Zak & Weezie race. It is going to be so much fun. We will be thinking of you. Love you!

It really happened!

Natalie slept through the night............3 nights in a row!!!! Michael did too! We have gotten more sleep than ever before and somehow, we still are dragging. I guess it takes time to catch up on 4 years of no sleeping:)

We now have no dining room wall/window and some more insulation was installed. It really opens up the house. We are getting there!!!

It's only the 2nd week of summer vacation and Tyler is bored out of his mind!!! For the next 4 Wednesdays, he goes to his Autism social group for a hour. At the end of June, Lindsey and Tyler are going to VBS for a week. July 10th-14th, Tyler goes to Live Theatre Workshop, a drama camp from 8 to 5. He then goes back again the first week in August. What is probably the most exciting for him/us is August 10th. You can figure it out. It involves sand and water. Gotta keep it a surprise.

June 2nd

"Fantastic, it's the best I can do today!" was his mantra. His boisterous laugh, his wonderful sense of humor, and those big bear hugs are just some of the things I miss about him. Ice cream cured anything that ailed you, the mosquitos were thiiiiiiiiiis big and that was just between the eyes, and while playing a card game and you crossed him, well you were his ex-granddaughter, ex-son, etc. He had a love for Louis L'Amour books, golfing, making stained glass pieces, old-fashioned hard candy, and animals. He was a strong, confident, positive, sweet, honest, hardworking man. What can I say, as a grandfather, he was fantastic, and it's the best I can do today. We miss you and love you, Grandpa/T-man!
