First, let me apologize for the out of sequence photos below. I must have posted them too quickly and they got jumbled up. I am sure you can figure out how they should be. I am lucky I got that much up without interruption. Michael enjoyed his party....he was overwhelmed by everyone fussing over him, but he enjoyed it. He got alot of wonderful gifts. Everyone gave him something he really enjoys. Aunt Kristal, he loves the pjs! Boo & Ian, the bath book and toothbrushes are his faves. Grandma & Grandpa Scavo, he loves to carry his shoes around. Aunt Christina and Uncle Dan, he can't keep his hands off of the Tonka cars. Great-Grandma Doris, the monster truck you gave him is always in his sight! Grandma & Grandpa Russell, he wants to read his books to me all the time. He really made out! Thank you all for your generous gifts and for coming to his party.

What Michael has taught us.

1. Magnets are fun to put in the lint tray of the dryer.
2. Crayons should be used on walls, not paper.
3. Hugs are really nice.
4. Meals are overrated.....why eat, when you can play?
5. All small things belong in the toilet. Woody from Toy Story, Nemo, and fingers. Ugh!
6. Rasberries are fun to do on all tummies!
7. When the opportunity to play in the backyard arises, roll in the dirt as fast as you can.....you don't know when this chance will present itself again.
8. Screaming as loud as you possibly can is really the only way to wake up in the middle of the night. In the middle of EVERY night. 9. Smiles make everyone feel better. 10. To appreciate what a wonderful son we have. He is one of our many joys. We are so blessed.

Potty Success!

I have been meaning to post and brag about how quickly Lindsey got the hang of it, but time seems to slip on by. Last weekend we started and she has not had one bad accident since the first day(and that wasn't really all that bad!). We are so proud of her! My baby is growing up! Now, if we could get her to be nice to her baby brother........we would be ecstatic! I know, I know, wishful thinking!

New Year Resolution..to blog more

Ha! I already blew that one! We have a lot going on right now.....Only 9 1/2 weeks until Natalie makes her appearance, potty-training Lindsey, and Michael's birthday party is in 2 weeks. We are very anxious to meet the new little one, but in true procrastinator fashion, we are not ready! Lindsey has been a challenge, as usual. :) We are on our 4th day of cold turkey...no more diapers...only panties and she has been dry every single night and now has not had an accident in 2 days. She was finally ready, YAY!!! We can't believe that Michael is turning 2! What a fun little boy he is. He is a super snuggle bug and is always smiling. Tyler is doing well....a sixth grader next year.......UGH!!!

Christmas morning was the typical whirl of activity. Tyler woke up at 5:00 am and did not understand why the little ones were not up yet. The first thing Lindsey noticed was that the cookies and milk were gone. She said"Oh no, Santa's cookies are gone....they are for Santa!" She didn' t really get that Santa came and ate them. It was pretty cute. They finally realized that there were presents under the tree and got really excited. You can imagine what happened....bows, wrapping paper and tags were flying and it took all we could do to keep up. Tyler ended up with THREE new Monopoly games. He was super happy about that. His total is about 11 or 12 now. He loves the game, what can I say? Lindsey and Michael loved everything!!! While the gift frenzy was going on, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with so much thankfulness and love. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We are so blessed.
