As the Bell Rings...

School started last week for ALL of my kiddos. Yep, you read that right....ALL of them.

Monday it was....

Tyler starting high school. High School. High School. No matter how many times I say it, it doesn't seem true. I was pretty pleased that he cracked half a smile for me. It was a before school miracle!

Lindsey starting 2nd grade. As she told me, "Second grade means much more responsibility, Mom." She was so proud of the matching backpack & lunchbag she got at Target. I thought it was sort of generic, but it was the best of the selection. A girl likes what a girl likes!

Michael starting Kindergarten!!!! Wow, how did we get HERE? His teacher asked that he bring in a baby photo of himself. Brought me to tears looking at this. My baby is no longer a baby, he's at the big kid's school!

Natalie's uncertainty. Why wasn't she in the big school with "Windsey" & "Mycul".

Tuesday was....

Natalie's big day! She goes to preschool 2x a week. She feels pretty big now! Especially the carrying a backpack & snack bag part!

As you can see from the pics, some were cooperative and some weren't. The positive is that they let me take photos at all!

The cuteness I have to deal with....

on a daily basis. He makes me laugh every single day. I love this soon to be kindergartner.

1.) I love rollercoasters. Lucky for me, my daughter does too!

2.) I will never eat sushi. Don't ask me to. I won't....I just won't.

3.) I don't like talking to people with sunglasses on...weird, I know. I have to see your eyes while I am talking to you.

4.) I was born exactly 1 year after my great-aunt passed away......@ the same time........crazy, no? My great-uncle couldn't visit me for a long time because of it.

5.) I went to 13 different schools......may have been 14, might be missing one.

6.) Mushrooms and green peppers on my pizza, please!

7.) I want a mac.....okay, you might already know that, but I really, really want one!
