Lindsey's birthday party.

She had a great day. She woke up in a wonderful mood. We kicked the day off with our usual cinnamon birthday rolls. We had big plans, but as luck would have it, it was pouring outside. I'm sure you have seen it on the news. Where we normally have empty washes of dirt, are now raging rivers. It is so wild to see the force of mother nature. Anyhow, we didn't get to do anything outside. Charles cooked the hamburgers and hot dogs under the ramada. She enjoyed lunch and her cake. She loved putting on the circus hats we made and running around blowing her party horns. After the cake, we opened presents and this was when she was the sweetest. Every card she opened, she said " It says "Happy birthday, circus, me" EVERY card. It was so cute. She was happy with every gift she received. She especially loved the Minnie Mouse from Great-Grandma Russell, the fairy umbrella from Gladys and the Charlie and Lola books from Tyler, Michael, and Natalie. If you haven't read the Charlie and Lola books, you need to. So cute! All in all, it turned out fine. We had more photos, but I am embarrassed to show them on the blog. We forgot to wipe down the glass screen in front of the fireplace and there are fingerprints everywhere. Disgusting. 4 kids running around and a party to get ready for.......we were bound to forget many things. oh, well......you can bet that won't happen again!
