For our first day of vacation, we decided to head off to Reid Park Zoo. The kids love it and we have a family member pass, so it was FREE! It was interesting to see which animals they gravitate towards. Michael's favorite seemed to be the ducks & fish in the pond. Lindsey liked the tiger alot. Tyler seemed to enjoy it, although he has an aversion to most animals. After the zoo, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese. Yes, you read that right. They have never been there....yes, you read that right too. They acted as though we had gone to Disneyland. They had such a great time. Michael loved that he scored a couple of times at Skeeball(my personal favorite), Lindsey really liked the basketball hoop game, and Tyler was all over the place. After we left, we hit the pool. It was so nice out, not too hot and not too windy. Michael ventured out a little more and Lindsey finally put her whole head under! Tyler and I had a little cannonball competition going on. He won, but I like to think that he learned all that he knows of cannonballs from me:) !
