Our unvacation.

Every year, we go to California for vacation. This year we were pretty excited.....we were able to sign Tyler up in a Surf Camp that was FREE! Such a sweet thing to do for kids dealing with any form of autism. So, we were all ready to go......got terrific rooms at a great rate, Charles took time off............then we find out school starts on August 15th this year! For the past 3 or 4 years it has been on the 22nd or 23rd. Imagine our surprise and disappointment! Luckily, we had not told the kids were were going on vacation. Secretly, I am relieved. It would have been exhausting this year and it's August....it's hot! So, we decided on a taking a little vacation at home. No working on the remodeling, not worrying about anything and just relaxing!
