Finally!

She has a sweet, sweet husband who my children immediately loved!
She has an amazing daughter who was willing to try anything new and has the bluest eyes I have ever seen.
She has another equally amazing daughter who clicked with Lindsey right away. Don't you love Natalie's photo of her? Such a cutie.
She was game for anything, even hanging out in a candy store for an hour. Worked the photo booth like a pro;)

Lori, a dear friend that I met here...in Bloggyland. I can't believe that we got a chance to meet.

More to come........

I had an important date. Found in my draft folder.

Yesterday, I was invited to a tea party. A tea party picnic.

A sweet someone set our place setting...complete with a flower plate, a ladybug and a caterpillar....and the darling teapot placecard that said, Lady Heather and Lady Natalie.

The teachers made everyone feel special
with all the tea party accessories.

Including the sweet sign that told us, "You are a beautiful Mom" Always nice to hear.
I was read to. Brown bear, brown bear is one of her favorites.

She even tried to share her ladybug cookie.

She even treated me to a game of peek-a-boo with the cute Mother's Day card that she made for me.

On our way out

She showed off her dancing skills!
Doesn't that last photo remind you of Shirley Temple, or what?

I love this little girl.

We took a little walk.

We picked out our favorite hair accessory.

Our favorite shirt(she really loves it).

And went on a flower walk.

We both loved these. So bright.

Every time we came to a tree, she would duck..no matter how tall the tree was.

She let me know that these "cactuses" were pretty too.

No matter how thorny they are, i love bougainvilleas!

We took a little rest by some african daisies.

We found some beautiful blue delphiniums blooming in our yard.
What is so cool about that? They are my actual wedding flowers that we planted.
They come back every year....
They make me happy.

Promoting the value of kindness.

See the cute button to the right ? The one that says...I'm very nice? Ever clicked on it? It is a wonderful site, run by a super sweet Melissa. Trying to show everyone that a little niceness goes a long way. She has entered the Pepsi, Refresh Everything Challenge. Could you check it out? Go here and if you like her idea, please vote for her. I think her ideas are brilliant and needed. Thanks!

I will never give up.

Getting good photos of the family.
One day, it will happen.
Not a horrible photo, but not the best.
Legs cut off, Natalie looking at the ground,
Michael's shirt untucked and best of all,
Tyler has a branch in his face.
Yay! I didn't cut off their legs,
there is no branch obstructing Tyler,
Natalie is semi-smiling at the camera..
but, then Michael decides to show off
the top of his head, as a truck drives by...
I love the tile on the wall and wanted
them to all stand in front of the flowers,
but they only wanted to line up. It didn't
turn out quite as I had planned.
Then, I got this shot of Tyler
and I smiled again.
Well...this one I settled with...
the girl's smiler was not working
and neither were her curls:)
My frown then turned upside down
with his half-smile
and her full-blown, happy face.
Making progress.....

Favorite photo of the day...
I love this little family. Good photos or not.
They make my life so wonderful.

Rainbows.

Only one more day until she turns 4! I still can't believe it. She is such a ray of sunshine in our life. She loves her new shirt...$3.50 score at Wal-mart. She almost wouldn't wear it. Why? Because the rainbow on the shirt is not right...and she went on and on about how there is no pink and it should be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and purple. Smart girl...love her.

You have to always be prepared.

Snoopy and a maraca in a bucket....necessary items when you pick up your older siblings from school.

A Rainy Monday.....

Natalie & I decided to take advantage of this gloomy weather. We got on our raincoats(even though it wasn't raining out) and our rainboots to search for puddles.
We found very few....
But, those we found....were fun!

After puddle hopping, we were a little chilly.

We talked and giggled about our rainy adventure over a cup of cocoa.
What fun are you planning today?

Five for Friday.

1. I seriously cannot take a decent photo/self-portrait.
2. 2/4 of my cute children resting in the bounce house, ready for round 2. Got to love that static electricity and grass in their hair.

3. Enjoying a nice cold glass of soda.
In a cool Coca-Cola glass.
As much as I love the glass, you know that it is a Pepsi.

There is something wrong with that.

4. Natalie cannot get enough of this video. A video Tyler got about 7 years ago....she is addicted.
So much so, her art is being influenced.
Can you find Ronald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, Franklin, and Sundae in her picture? They are all there.

5. Finished Natalie's birthday invitations..yay, one more thing accomplished!
Have a great Friday!
